<p>Die Allgäu Comets können weiterhin auf ein echtes Eigengewächs bauen: Offensive Lineman <strong>Matteo Armando Acquadro</strong> bleibt Teil des Teams und steht damit wie kaum ein anderer Spieler für Identifikation, Kontinuität und Heimatverbundenheit. Der 2002 in Kempten geborene Lineman ist seit Jahren fester Bestandteil der Organisation und bringt nicht nur Physis, sondern auch eine klare Mentalität mit aufs Feld.</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Vom Fan zum Leistungsträger</h3>
<p>Der Weg von Matteo Acquadro zum American Football begann früh und direkt vor der eigenen Haustür. Ein Erlebnis, das seine Verbindung zu den Comets bis heute prägt.</p>

<p>Seitdem ist der Football aus seinem Leben nicht mehr wegzudenken. Über die Jugend der Allgäu Comets entwickelte er sich Schritt für Schritt weiter und schaffte schließlich den Sprung in den Herrenbereich.</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Ein Comet durch und durch</h3>
<p>Für Acquadro ist der Verein weit mehr als nur eine Station in seiner Karriere. Seine Entscheidung für die Allgäu Comets ist tief emotional geprägt.</p>

<p><em>„Es ist mein Heimatteam, das Team, mit dem ich aufgewachsen bin. Für mich gibt es kein anderes Team. Ich wollte schon immer ein Comet werden. Allgäu all the way.“</em></p>

<p>Diese Haltung macht ihn zu einem wichtigen Bestandteil der Teamkultur und zu einem Spieler, der Verantwortung übernimmt und vorangeht.</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Entwicklung und Rolle in der Offensive Line</h3>
<p>Seit 2021 ist Acquadro fester Bestandteil des GFL Teams der Allgäu Comets und sorgt auf der Offensive Line für Stabilität. Mit 185 Zentimetern und 127 Kilogramm bringt er die nötige Physis mit, um im Zentrum der Line zu bestehen. Bereits in der Jugend konnte er auf sich aufmerksam machen, unter anderem als Team MVP der U19 im Jahr 2019 sowie durch seine Auswahl für die Bavarian Warriors.</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Klare Ziele für die Saison</h3>
<p>Für die kommende Spielzeit formuliert Acquadro seine Ambitionen ohne Umschweife.</p>

<p>Ein kurzer Satz, der die Einstellung eines Spielers widerspiegelt, der den Erfolg des Teams über alles stellt.</p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Persönlichkeit mit Charakter</h3>
<p>Auch abseits des Feldes bringt Acquadro eine besondere Persönlichkeit mit. Unter seinen Spitznamen „The Brain“ und „Mateusz“ ist er im Team bekannt, seine Interessen reichen von Gaming über Reisen bis hin zu gutem Essen. Mit Matteo Acquadro behalten die Allgäu Comets nicht nur einen wichtigen Baustein ihrer Offensive Line, sondern auch ein Gesicht der Organisation, das für den Weg des Vereins steht.</p>
