„I resigned with the Vikings because nothing beats their culture and brotherhood.“ – WR Weston Carr
I resigned with the Vikings because nothing beats their culture and brotherhood. When it comes to expectations for the upcoming season, the goal is clear: Defending the title and becoming back-to-back Champions.“
Dass Westons 2022 Saison bereits vorm ersten ELF-Meisterschaftsspiel ein jähes Ende fand, bedauert auch Head Coach Calaycay: „“Weston’s season was cut short in the preseason due to an injury but being fully healthy, he returns to Europe and has a chance to show the European League of Football why he was so dominant in 2021.“
Der Vienna Vikings Head Coach freut sich jedenfalls auf Westons Rückkehr auf dem Feld: „We are excited for Weston to be back on the field. And we are excited for the fans to see what he can do in Purple in 2023.“ Die Vorfreude auf die Comeback Saison des Receivers scheint auch in der Redaktion der European League of Football groß zu sein, wo man folgende Prognose gibt: „The former All-American could potentially be one of the best pass catchers in the European League of Football next season.“
